DRAWING TO TEXTILE

From my Montreal studio, I develop original patterns that move fluidly between fine art and interior design. Each textile begins as hand-drawn exploration, evolving through careful development into products for contemporary spaces. Working with local production partners, these designs become exceptional wallcoverings and fabrics for the design trade.

studio

Where art meets design: My Montreal studio serves as both creative laboratory and pattern workshop.

Drawing process

Discovery through drawing: Each pattern emerges through exploration, where spontaneous mark-making leads to unexpected possibilities.

The table displays various designs including floral, abstract, and architectural motifs in multiple colors. In the background, there is a computer, office chair, and art supplies.

Production collaboration

Local craft meets innovation: Montreal-based production partners transform drawings into exceptional textiles and wallcoverings.

art & design

My studio practice moves fluidly between commercial design and fine art, allowing me to push the boundaries between decoration and artistic expression. This continuous exploration enriches my design collections, offering designers truly unique elements for their projects. The patterns you'll find in my textile and wallpaper collections often appear in my artwork, creating an interesting dialogue between functional design and fine art.
